Pumpkin Bread

(Passed down from Great-grandma Julia Cook)

Cream together:
1/2 C shortening
1 1/3 C sugar

Beat in:
2 eggs
1 C pumpkin
1/3 C water
1 2/3 C flour
1/4 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1/3 t cloves
3/4 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 C chopped nuts

Bake for 1 hour at 350º
